kiosk design :delhi

I designed these kiosks; street furniture...(internet,atm,airconditioned,hawking/vending integrated) to be built in delhi. 3000 units tobe exact. The main revenue generation is from the advertising. Of the variations i liked three.and made presentations for two. The one in the videowas appreciated..but i liked the other two as well.

Beedi

Naming a design company is not easy...everything one can think of..is already taken.Case in point..BEEDI?? Baba Designs right..instead of the usual B.D...i thought naming it after the addictive tobacco joint...reflects my addiction to design..corny?vulgar?cannot go with that class of society?

frankly i dont care...it's catchy and my work speaks for itself..

pick anything but the ace

sangha picks the ace everytime...i stop when he says "stop"...the funniest part is the end where he puts his finger in between when im riffling through the deck and still picks an ace!

When it comes to comic story-telling, frank miller is god.Was messin around in photoshop and made this sin city cover..thought it came out well enough to be posted.

Batman:Brown?

I long since wondered why no one used the shades of brown to depict batman.I have no problem with blues and grays but bats are majorly brown..and that never occured to anybody.Christopher nolan answered my question with the dark knight.Well here's my attempt at the brown knight.Also added is a tutorial which gives the key moves used to make it for intermediate photoshop users.

the best part about streetmagic is the pleasure of seeing the reactions on people's faces once the trick is performed on them...case in point: i removed the watch of my junior without her knowledge and revealed it through some material transmission mumbo jumbo...check out her reaction after seeing her watch..(also dont ask me why im wearing a santa hat..)

My funny life

The editors of this year's annual magazine of my college asked me to put in an article..so..instead of writing something...i thought i would give them a comical look on my college life.This strip would be the funniest to people from my college.Did'nt realise it until someone pointed it out to me..the above looks strikingly like sergio aragones' work...maybe all those years of readin MAD actually paid off...i think.

Beenz

The coffee shop i designed at jubilee hills is called beenz.Overlook the places where i spelt it as beens(lack of sleep tends to make one do that). These are the logos i cooked up. I'm confused as people like different ones.Open to criticism.

Well...the basic concept of blogging is lost with a routine like mine.So im posting stuff that i do periodically or stuff which i think is worth posting.Well beetees is in demand again..this time in VNR (an engineering college)-for their annual fest SINTILLASHUNZ(dont ask why its spelled that way..cause even they have no clue).here are what i think some good conceptuals done entirely with cs2 brushes('cept some stuff i drew..like the dragon).They liked the zippo one but personally i'd go for the monster conceptual.
